I will admit that im no movie buff like I am when it comes to books. But I do watch the movies/documentaries that matter the most– The ones that have an impactful and meaningful message. These are the Movies, Documentaries, recordings and other motivational videos that prepare you for the top, but also shine light on the common pitfalls on your way to getting there. Some are historical. Some are new. Some are classics. But all are enlightening, inspirational, and empowering.
These are the videos that every man must have in his library of information. This list will be updated regularly so check back on a regular basis.
1. GoodFellas (1990)
With the famous line “As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster”. This movie exemplifies some excellent principles for an Alpha Male to live by. Courage, Loyalty, Leadership, Confidence, and Dedication to name a few. The film’s factual, semi-documentary account is about a young man who grows up in the mob and works very hard to advance himself through the ranks. Its actually based off a true story– on the book “Wiseguy” by Nicholas Pileggi. If you dont know about this movie, just ask around.
2. Divorce Corp (Documentary)
Simply put, this documentary will change every Mans life! Every Man I know who seen this documentary was never the same. Divorce Corp is a documentary that takes a closer look at the business of divorce in the US. Yes, business! Because it is a $50 billion a year industry and the secrets of it are told from insiders within the court system– Judges, lawyers, and clerks who admit that it is their job to prolong your divorce proceedings in order to get more money out of both clients. Essentially, its not about who wins, their job is just to get the most money out of both sides. Simply Jaw-Dropping and its free on Netflix.
3. Brought (Documentary)
This Shocking and eye-opening documentary reveals the insidious truth behind Vaccines, GMO’s & Big Pharmaceutical. Anyone who has a history of health problems in their family needs to see this ASAP so that they can prevent any future complications before they arise. Bought dives deeply into the inner workings of the industries at the core of our food and healthcare system, exploring the truth about how vaccines and drugs are developed and are essentially killing people. And you learn this all from the experts. In this documentary you will also learn the ongoing secrecy behind the genetic engineering of our food supply.
4. The Buddha: The Story of Siddhartha
Watch this superb 2-hour PBS documentary on the life and teachings of the Buddha. The first half of the documentary covers the Buddha’s life from his sensual life as Prince Siddhartha to his departure into the ascetic life, and then to his awakening. The second half of the documentary covers many of the Buddha’s key teachings.
5. 16 Blocks
Bruce Willis stars as NYPD detective Jack Mosley, a cop assigned to drive petty criminal Eddie Bunker to testify. It should be a simple task. It should take only 15 minutes. But a routine task becomes a fight for survival that will change two men forever in 16 blocks. 16 Blocks is one of those movies you can watch over and over. It is very well done. Bruce Willis is playing a character which is a little different from his other screen heroes, he’s playing a shady cop, who does the right thing. Needless to say, he does an excellent job.
6. How to Be A Player
I have watched this movie over 10 times. As a young Alpha Male in training, my initial goal was to sleep with as many women as possible, and the principles within this movie helped me to do that. Bill Bellamy, known as Dray in the movie plays the role of a Player to a “T”. If you want more women, watch this movie now.
7. Life of Pi
Although as an Alpha Preneur, my focus is always on the message (the principles), Life of Pi is one of the best looking, visually stunning movies I have ever seen. Life of Pi was originally a novel written about growth, adventure, hope, miracle, survival and confidence. All which are principles of the Alpha Male. After the book became a global success, then it was made into a movie. The book has been listed in the required reading books for all high school students in European and American countries. Though it is required reading for Alpha’s in training, I believe every grown Alpha Male should watch this movie in order to discover what it means to persevere through the journey of life. This movie is close a representation of my life while living 2 years in the wilderness of Afrika.
